Yvonne Neufeld

Neufeld, Yvonne Lyndel, age 53, of Eastend, Saskatchewan passed away on September 19, 2024 in Swift Current, Saskatchewan.  A celebration of life was held at 2:00 p.m., September 26, 2024 from the Eastend Memorial Hall.  The eulogists were Jocelyn Guckert (daughter) and Elmer Palmer (uncle).  Ushers were Ken Wagner, John Fairweather, Justin Perrault, Morgan Perrault.  The honorary urn bearers were her beloved grandchildren:  Bohdin Guckert, Dawson Guckert, Griffin Guckert, Emerson Neufeld, and Layla Gibson.  The interment service will be held at a later date with close family and friends in the Consul Cemetery.  Yvonne is survived by her husband Dave Neufeld; son Ryan Neufeld and granddaughter Layla Gibson; daughter Jocelyn Guckert (Trey) and grandchildren Bohdin, Dawson, and Griffin Guckert; son Dexter Neufeld (Jessica Hicks) and grandson Emerson Neufeld; sisters:  Doris Lalonde, Clarissa (Jock) Fairweather, Wanda (Richard) Perrault.  Yvonne is survived by many aunts, uncles, nephews and nieces.  She was predeceased by her parents Larry and Rosemary Sawden.  Yvonne was born on July 22, 1971 in Swift Current, and attended school at Consul, Saskatchewan.  On October 6, 1990 Yvonne married the love of her life, Dave, in Maple Creek, Saskatchewan.  She was employed with the Saskatchewan Health Authority as a Continuing Care Aide, and most recently in the Mental Health Unit at the Cypress Regional Hospital.  In her spare time, Yvonne enjoyed camping, gardening, being outside, traveling, sewing, and most importantly spending time with her family.  Donations in lieu of flowers can be made to the Cancer Foundation of Saskatchewan, 200 - 4545 Parliament Ave, Regina, SK S4W 0G3; or to the Dr. Noble Irwin Foundation Attn.
