It is with heavy hearts that the family of Wyatt Fuchs-Zeller announces his passing. He left this world peacefully, surrounded by his family, on April 4, 2026.
Wyatt was born in Swift Current, Saskatchewan, on July 30, 1995, and left a lasting impression on everyone he met. He had a strong will—tenacious, adventurous, and full of life. As a child, many summers and weekends were spent outdoors—cliff jumping and searching for Bigfoot (often with a few playful pranks along the way) in British Columbia, or building forts and gopher hunting on the family farms. His love for nature stayed with him throughout his life, and he found peace in camping, hiking, and spending time along the South Saskatchewan River.
Wyatt is remembered with deep love. His spirit lives on in the hearts of those who knew him, and in the lives of those given a second chance through his incredible gift of organ donation.
The family would like to extend their heartfelt thanks to the doctors and nurses at St. Paul’s Hospital in Saskatoon, and a special thank you to the staff at Organ and Tissue Donation. If you are looking for proof of God and want to see where He is most present, take a walk or drive down 20th Street in Saskatoon—you will see Him in the people who live and work there, and in the quiet acts of kindness shown every day.
Wyatt is survived by his mother, Erin Fuchs (Lorne Carefoot); his father, Darren Zeller; his siblings Keenan Zeller; Hunter Fuchs-Zeller (Kenny Couch), Tristan Mitchell and Mylan Zeller; his daughter, Sunny Hanson; and his grandfather, Al Fuchs (Irene Fuchs).
A celebration of Wyatt’s life will be held at a later date, with details to follow.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Wyatt’s memory may be made to The Bridge on 20th Fellowship Centre or St. Paul’s Hospital in Saskatoon.
