Winona Tait

It is with great sadness that we announce the peacefull passing of our Mom, Winona Tait on May 19, 2022 at the age of 98. 
Mom was born on May 12, 1924 and married Ted Tait on October 18, 1946. They raised their four children: Bob (Rosalyn), Barry (Lorie), Bonnie (Owen) and Betty (Phil). She had 13 grandchildren and 27 great grandchildren. 
Mom kept herself busy for years with gardening, raising chickens, delivering meals to the field, hauling grain, selling Tupperware, singing in choirs, and taking trips to casinos with friends. Mom was a Bently bingo caller for 10 years and could be heard without a microphone. During the last several years she spent many hours doing puzzles and word search books, making cross stitch Christmas balls for each great grandchild, crocheting afghans and knitting toques for family and donations. Mom was also an avid Blue Jays baseball fan. 
She was predeceased by her husband Ted, her brother Merlin and her sister Deanna.
She is survived by her family and by her companion of eight years, Petey the lovebird. 
Mom had a great life and will be dearly missed.
