William (Bill) Ronald Baumann, born May 20, 1952, went to join his heavenly family on June 9th, 2020. He was predeceased by his mom and dad, Helen (Kirk) and Bill Baumann, and his sister, Hazel Mudryk. He leaves behind his sisters, Carola (Don) Anderson, Davida (Tony) Giesinger and Tish (Russ) Boyson; brother-in-law, Dick Mudryk; aunts, Arlo Baumann and Doris Anderson; uncle, Norman Kirk; many cousins; and many nieces and nephews. We the family would like to thank the Doctors, Nurses, and staff of the Swift Current Hospital for your awesome care of our brother and a special thanks to everyone at the Clover House for their genuine love and care of our brother, Billy Baumann.

I grew up in a house of girls and that should say it all! As a child I enjoyed growing up in Verlo, later living on the farm and eventually moving into Gull Lake. I went on to farm in the summer and work on seismograph and oil rigs in the winter. One winter I was at Norman Wells, NWT working 12 - 15 hours/day, 7 days per week in very, very cold weather celebrating the time when the warmest day hit 39 degrees F. Upon retiring from farming, I worked odd jobs but had to quit due to health problems which plagued me for the rest of my life. I resided in Gull Lake for many years before moving to Swift Current in 2016. I told my sisters that I wish I had moved years earlier. I truly enjoyed going to the casino where I had the pleasure of meeting many different people and of course winning a few pots and losing them as well, always with the hopes of winning the "big one." And now my time has come and I'm off to my next adventure, free to once again breathe without losing my breath or dealing with pain. So I peacefully leave this world with no regrets. "I lived life my way." Warren's Funeral Home were entrusted with the arrangements.
