Will Hyswick Obituary

It is with great sadness that the family announces the passing of William Thomas Hyswick.  Born July 4th,1937. Dad passed away peacefully at home with his family by his side, on October 24th, 2023 at the age of 86.

Dad was a humble man. He gave with his whole heart always. There are so many wonderful words to describe him.  He always had the time for a visit and to share his knowledge. As to why so many people young and old, looked up to him. He loved his community, which equally loved him back. He was kind, gentle, giving, soft hearted and a great businessman. He laughed with everyone and he will be dearly missed.

He lived for his family. He was very proud of his wife, children and grandchildren. And of course his little shadow Nawsha. And we loved spending every second we could with him. His time was well spent with us and his legacy will forever be remembered.

Dad had a love for cooking, sports, horses he raised for many years, rodeo, his SC Broncos, SK Roughiders. Spending time at his summer home at the SK Landing which he loved to entertain. He supported his family at every sport, dance recital, anything they had going on. He was our biggest fan.

Will is survived by his loving wife, Ad. His loving children Cam and Jodie (Kurt). His loving grandchildren Levi (Sam & Lochlann), Tanner (Samantha), Cobie (Layne). And his brother Kelly (Carol). Brother in laws, sister in laws, nieces & nephews.  Predeceased by his parents, John Sr and Sylvia; his brothers John Jr and Ron.

God saw he was getting tired,

and a cure was not to be.

So he put his arms around him,

and whispered “Come with me.”

In tears we watched him,

and saw him fade away.

Although we loved him dearly,

we could not make him stay.

A heart of gold stopped beating,

hard working hands now rest.

God broke our hearts to prove to us,

He only takes the best.
