Bender: Wendy Lou Bender, age 60, of Swift Current, SK passed away August 29, 2020 at Cypress Regional Hospital. Wendy is survived by her Husband Michael Bender; Children, Ryan (Lisa) Bender and Scott (Jaclyn Schultz) Bender; Grandchildren Calli, Jake, Bode and Dane; Brothers and Sisters, Sherry (Jack) Walker, Donna Corey, Heather Corey, Patsy (Barry) Williams, Janet (Alan) Blohm, Wanda Corey, Wayne (Karen) Corey, Brian Corey and Jason (Jane) Corey; Brothers and Sisters-in-law; Joan (Dwayne) Assen, Sandra (Elwood) Biech, Sharon (Shawn) Wilson, David (Chris) Bender and Barry Poff, as well numerous nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her Parents Marjorie and Thomas Corey; Mother and Father-in-law Elmer and Margaret Bender; Grandparents Samuel and Ruth Corey and Edward and Eve Castle; Sister Shannon Poff and Sister-in-law Diane Corey. Wendy was born in Swift Current on August 15, 1960 and attended school in Swift Current. She married Michael Bender on October 29, 1977 in Swift Current and together they opened and worked side by side at Mike Bender and Sons Agri Products for over 30 years. Wendy enjoyed baking, crafts, taking care of the yard and the annual trips to Las Vegas and Hawaii. She will be dearly missed by her family and friends.
