Wayne was Born: June 6, 1939, in Cabri, SK. He attended School in Abbey, SK. Wayne married Teresa (Terry) Anderson June 26, 1965, in Abbey, SK. Dad worked for many of the farmers in the area until he purchased the family farm and, he also worked for the RM of Miry Creek while we were in Abbey. In 1977, we moved to Eastend, SK where they purchased the Riverside Motel.  While living in Eastend he also worked for the RM of White Valley, Hat (Flint) Pipeline, and helping out with farming for friends and neighbors. After Dad retired, he lived in Medicine Hat, Burstall, then moving to Swift Current. Wayne was a Chartered Member of the Abbey Kinsmen Club on January 25, 1975.  Then transferred to the Eastend Kinsmen Club and then to the K40 Club. He also enjoyed camping, fishing, hunting, and most of all he loved to tinker in his shops. Wayne watched his granddaughter’s sports teams.  He liked a good western movie and he was always the first one to enjoy the shortbread cookies during the holidays.  He always participated with his grandchildren on the annual eater egg hunt and playing dice at Christmas (which got pretty loud sometimes).  He may have been the target for our family water fights.  Always a sleighride for the grand children, they couldn’t wait for the tractor to come out. In Wayne memory, memorial donation may be made to the Kinsmen Telemiracle, 3-2217 Hanselman Court, Saskatoon, Saskatchewan S7L 6A8. Wayne will be sadly missed but fondly remembered by his family and friends. Warren’s Funeral Home in care of the arrangements.
