Wayne Anderson

Anderson, Wayne William age 81 of Swift Current, Saskatchewan, passed away on September 13, 2022 at Swift Current, Saskatchewan.  The memorial service will be held at a later date.  Wayne is survived by his children: William and wife Rhonda, James and Brigette, Crystal and Gary; his grandchildren Zackary, Lukas, Kodee, Breanah, Britnee, and Ashlee.  He was predeceased by his parents William and Genieva (Kirby) Anderson of Coronach, Saskatchewan.  Wayne was born on May 4, 1941 in Coronach, Saskatchewan.  He attended school at Hart and graduated grade from Coronach High School.  He was married and divorced twice.  First to Edith Diane (Muirhead), and to Lilianne Alexendre.  Wayne began with the Imperial Bank until they merged to become CIBC.  He then went back to Coronach and worked 45 + years for the Credit Union, and he retired from Lancer Credit Union.  He was a member of the Kinsmen.  In his earlier days but then found music.  He loved to sing.  He played many weddings and dances in the southwest corner of Saskatchewan.  He continued to sing right up to his passing.  Wayne had many friends in the Swift Current area.  He will be missed by his friends and family and we will all miss his treasured voice.  Special thank to the staff at The Meadows and the Cypress Regional Hospital for their excellent care of dad.  Donation's may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Saskatchewan, 1738 Quebec Ave, Unit 26, Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, S7K 1V9.  Arrangements entrusted to Warren's Funeral Home.  For further information please call 1-306-773-8831 or 1-800-267-6606, or visit our website at www.warrensfuneralhome.com and express your sympathy to family members on the tribute wall.
