With her family by her side and surrounded by love, Wanda Jones passed away peacefully on July 31, 2025, after facing cancer with unwavering strength and grace.

Wanda was the beloved wife of Morris Jones and the devoted mother of Tyson, Brett (Bianca), and Amanda (Robbie). She was a proud and deeply loving grandmother to Leila and Jayson (children of Brett and Bianca).

Born and raised on a farm near Wallard, Saskatchewan, Wanda was one of five siblings: her brother Ross (Tammy) Howey, and three sisters Karen (Blaine) Heebner, Loreen (Leo) Beauchamp, and Vicki (Clint) Howey. Wanda attended Ponteix High School and graduated in 1978.

She met the love of her life, Morris, in 1974, and they married on June 6, 1980 beginning a life rooted in family, hard work, and deep love.

Wanda found joy in life’s simple pleasures: raising her children, working on the farm, gardening, and listening to country music. She was happiest outdoors with her hands in the soil or sitting at the table with a coffee in hand, surrounded by her friends, children, and grandchildren.

Those who knew Wanda will remember her as kind, strong, and independent—a woman who led with her heart and carried her family with grace and courage. She was the very definition of a devoted wife, a loving mother, and an adoring grandma. She touched more lives than she ever knew.

Wanda was predeceased by her son Tyson, her parents Dale and Maxine Howey, and her father-in-law Jay Jones.

She leaves behind a legacy of love, resilience, and deep connection. Her spirit will live on in her family’s hearts forever.

Wanda’s memorial service took place on Friday August 8, 2025 at 3:00 p.m., at the Jones Family Farm.
