Trevor was born in Eston on January 15th, 1972 as the youngest of 7 to Angeline (Metlewsky) and Bernard Fleischfresser on Bernard's 49th birthday.
Trevor was raised on the farm by Isham, Saskatchewan and graduated from Eston High School in 1990.
Trevor moved to Saskatoon to attend the University of Saskatchewan College of Agriculture. Trevor was recruited to the U of S Huskies Football team where he played nose tackle. His family often said he took 6 years to complete his 4-year degree to support his football obsession.
Trevor worked as a bouncer to put himself through school starting at the Texas T then moving to The Pat.
Trevor, known as Fly to most, took his 1st job in the Agriculture Industry with Sutherland Agro on a contract basis and worked several more contracts with Monsanto, Cyanamid as well as Cargill seeds in Peace River. Fly’s career with Syngenta started in January 2000, moving him to Swift Current.
Trevor met Rhonda shortly after and they married in 2003. He quickly took the role of a parent as step dad to Cheyenne before they joyfully welcomed Makayla in 2005 and Rayanne in 2007 into the happy family.
Trevor loved coaching, whether it was football at the Swift Current Comp for 13 years or all his girls’ softball. Trevor and Rhonda spent many hours driving their girls to their sporting events. They supported the girls in basketball, volleyball and softball often going separate directions.
Throughout his life Trevor made many connections and always had a “buddy” that could help, he was also the first one to offer help when needed.
Trevor became ill in June 2025 before he passed in Clover House on August 23, 2025.
Trevor was survived by his wife Rhonda; daughters: Cheyenne (Mark), Makayla, Rayanne; mother Angeline; father-in-law Bill Kendall; siblings: Miles Fleischfresser, Brenda (Kelly) Bakanec, Mona (Doug) Cruickshank, Ellen (Henry) Pogorzelec, Rosann (Dale) Anderson and Dale (Andrea) Fleischfresser; and numerous nephews and nieces. Trevor is predeceased by father Bernard Fleischfresser and mother-in-law Darlene Kendall.
A private family interment service will be held. A celebration of life will be held at 470 Steele Cres. on Thursday, August 28, 2025, starting at 3:00 p.m.
