Susan Wieler

Susan Pauline Wieler (Neufeld, Pinel) age 81 years of Swift Current, Saskatchewan passed away on June 10, 2025 at the Cypress Regional Hospital with family by her side.  The family will be honoring Susan’s wishes and will have a private graveside service.

Susan is survived by her daughter Paulette Wieler, son Marshall Wieler, sister Helen Jurick, and her nieces and nephews.  She was predeceased by her parents John and Mary, and her brothers Johnny and Cornie (Cob). 

Susan was born on December 3, 1943 in the Neville/Bracken area.  She was married to her first husband, and father of her children, Gerry Pinel, and her second husband John Wieler (divorced from both). 

Susan worked at the Swift Current Care Centre as a nurses aid, had several waitressing positions, worked at National Manufacturing, and cleaned rooms at the Comfort Inn.  She also babysat throughout her life as well. 

Susan belonged to the coffee club BAB’s (Bad Ass Bitches).  Mom loved playing ladies fastball in her younger years.  She loved reading, and doing woodwork projects.  Mom also was an avid Bingo player.  In memory of Susan, donations to the Cancer Society or the Heart and Stroke foundation would be appreciated by the family.
