Sheila M. Burton

Sheila Marie Burton (Karg) age 70 years, passed away peacefully with her family by her side on June 15, 2025 at the Cypress Regional Hospital in Swift Current, Saskatchewan.  

The Celebration of Life will take place on July 5, 2025 at 2:00 p.m. at St. Stephens Anglican Church with Chaplain Bob Cappelle officiating.  A time of fellowship will take place in the St. Stephens Anglican Hall immediately following the service.  

Sheila was born on July 1, 1954 in Hanna, Alberta to Jack and Augusta Karg.  Sheila attended school in Hanna, Alberta.  After Sheila’s retirement, she enjoyed numerous activities.  She enjoyed line dancing and aqua size, she also loved to decorate for the holidays.  Sheila liked curling and playing cards with friends.  Sheila loved her coffee and shopping dates with her friends, but most of all she loved spending time with her family.  

Sheila is survived by her husband Douglas Burton; daughters: Tina Dzuba and Tammy Jensen; grandson Brock Dzuba (Hailey); granddaughter Ashlie Zacharias; great grandchildren: Braxton, Clayton and Freya; sisters: Wanda Nielsen, Wendy LeeBond, Lenore Frischholz, Donna James (Ron), Linda Myer; brother-in-law Phil Burton; and numerous nieces and nephews.  Sheila was predeceased by her parents Jack and Augusta Karg; Nephew Ron Nielsen; brother John Karg; parents-in-law Fred and Jessie Burton.
