Rodney Lee Lemon
It is with great sadness that the family of Rodney (Rod) Lee Lemon announces the passing of a beloved Brother, Brother-in-law, Uncle and Friend on November 9, 2023.
He was born in Regina on February 3, 1958 to Grace and Wilbur Lemon, the fourth of five children. Rod grew up in Milestone and Tisdale. After graduating from Water Science Technology at Kelsey Institute in Saskatoon, Rod worked for Water Survey of Canada in Yellowknife and then for Sask Water in Kindersley and Swift Current. He was an active
member of the Kinsmen Clubs of Kindersley and Swift Current and the K40 Club in Swift Current. Rod was a dear friend to many. Rod was an avid sports fan and especially enjoyed watching the Swift Current Broncos, the Saskatchewan Roughriders and the Toronto Blue Jays.
Rod was predeceased by his parents Grace and Wilbur Lemon and a sister-in-law Lois Lemon.
He is survived by his brother Allen Lemon (Nancy) and children Neal Lemon (Menchie) and their children Maxime, Maya, Aria and Noah; Scott (Natacha) Lemon and their son Lucas.
His brother Dwight (Carol) Lemon and children Amy (Trevor) Brees and their daughter Sadie; Tracy (Brent) Follensbee and their children Braxton, Birkley and Tyce.
His brother Gregory (Barbara) and children Gillian (Thom) Walton and their children Sylvie and Ezra; Hilary Lemon
His sister Andrea (Gregory) Tunstall and children Andrew (Becky)Tunstall and their daughters Sloane and Jules; Jordan (Ashley) Tunstall and their children Tristan and Brooklyn.
Not often am I lost for words. All I can say is how much we loved our Uncle Rod and how this life won’t be the same without him. Thank you for loving us like your own and always showing up. Rest easy Uncle.
A Celebration of Life for Rod will be held at Elmwood Golf Club, 2015 Hillcrest Drive Swift Current on Thursday, November 23,2023 at 2:00 pm.
Internment will be at Arcola Cemetery on November 25, 2023.
