Robert "Rob" Coombes

We are heartbroken to announce the passing of Robert William Coombes on May 2, 2025 at the age of 47, at his home in Ponteix, Saskatchewan

Befriended in his community, Rob was often seen walking his large white dog George, and small orange cat Charlie, around town where neighbors and friends would often comment on how well his pets were bonded and how cute it was seeing them walk together.  Rob was kind-hearted and called “Funcle” and “Uncle Rob that Winks” by his nieces and nephew.  He was compassionate toward people in need.  Predeceased by nieces Madeline and Hannah, and his dog Kali.  Loved and deeply missed by his parents William and Diane; sisters Anne Marie, Michele; brother Nathaniel.  He is also loved and missed by nephew Riley, and nieces Andrea, Gabby, Laura, Kaylee, and Charlotte, as well as great-nephew Levi, and great-niece Lily.
