Rachelle Michell

Michell, Rachelle Dawn age 41 years of Regina, Saskatchewan, passed away on December 2, 2023 in Regina.  The Celebration of Life Service for family and close friends will take place on Friday, December 15, 2023 from 4:00 p.m – 8:00 p.m. from the Eagles Club in Regina (1600 Halifax St) with Meggan Michell and family officiating.  Ushers were Shawn Branton and Grant Branton.  The interment will be held in Vanguard, Saskatchewan at a later date.

Rachelle is survived by her son Tegan Simpson; brother Jonathan Michell; sisters Bonnie (Jay) Plaskan, Corralee Michell (Trev), Kim (Chad) Schindel, Meggan Michell (Andrew); and numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins.

She was predeceased by her grandfather Floyd Grant; grandmother Peggy Michell; cousin Deana-Lee Ruth Grant; mother Gloria Michell; grandmother Gladys Hilderman (Grant); father George Patrick Michell; and uncle Larry Norton.

Rachelle was born on January 31, 1982 at the Pasqua Hospital in Regina.  She attended Glen Elm School and Cochrane High School.  She was employed for ten years at the West Harvest Inn and Suites.

Rachelle was a lover of reading, music, and dance.  She loved to have fun.  Rachelle also had a love for shoes … the higher the better!  She loved horror films, and Stephen King novels.  Rachelle had a beautiful smile and a welcoming presence.  She loved her family and close friends.  “If you remember anything of me after I leave this world remember that I loved even when it was foolish.  That I cared even when it was unwanted.  When my body is gone, remember my heart.”
