Paul Skjei Obituary

Paul Skjei - July 27, 1950 – January 6, 2026

It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Paul Skjei on January 6, 2026, who passed peacefully at the Meadows, clover house, at the age of 75.

Born on July 27, 1950, Paul grew up on a farm in Eatonia, Saskatchewan, where his lifelong love for the land and for horses first began. A true cowboy at heart, he carried those roots with him throughout his life, and thankfully began to pass them onto his granddaughters.

Paul was also a skilled carpenter, with a remarkable knack for building just about anything. As kids, he had his granddaughters save every popsicle stick, promising that one day he would use them to build the girls a tree fort. A small but unforgettable example of his creativity, patience, and the way he dreamed up special things for those he loved.

Known for his hard work, quiet strength, and steady presence, Paul showed his love through action and dedication. He lived a simple, honest life and left a lasting impression on all who knew him.

Paul is lovingly remembered by his beloved granddaughters, siblings, and nieces and nephews. He is now peacefully reunited with his wife, Helen ❤️
He will be deeply missed by his family, friends, and all whose lives he touched. His legacy lives on through the memories, craftsmanship, and the love he leaves behind.

Rest in peace cowboy.
