McKay, Patti Mae, age 65, of Swift Current, Saskatchewan passed away on December 21, 2025. The memorial service was held on Friday, January 2, 2026 at 2:00 p.m. from Eastside Church of God with Pastor Kevin Snyder officiating. Special music was preformed by Taylor Bezanson. The eulogists were Jory McKay and Doug Robertson. The ushers were Kevin Steinley and Curtis Jorgensen. Honorary pallbearers are all of Patti’s family and friends.
Patti is survived by her loving husband Tim McKay; sons Jory McKay and Joel (Carol) McKay; Jim and Kim Robertson and family, Doug and Dianne Robertson and family, Gordon and Irene McKay, Belinda Fergusson and family, David McKay, and Jason and Courtney McKay.
She was predeceased by her parents Don and Enuice Robertson, Jack and Jean Pekush, Murray Robertson, Terry Baumback, and Donna Askewe.
Patti was born on December 25th (Christmas) 1959. She attended school in Rush Lake, Waldeck, and Swift Current, and later at Kelsey Institute of Saskatoon.
On June 20, 1987, Patti married the love of her life and best friend, Tim McKay, at First United Church in Swift Current. Patti worked at various businesses over the years including the City of Swift Current, Swift Current RCMP, Research Station, she was the owner and operator of Dinner Connection, and she worked at the Federated Co-op in Saskatoon.
In her spare time Patti enjoyed curling, crafting, line dancing, golfing, camping, card and games, reading, hockey, and animals. She loved the Winnipeg Jets, and Adam Lowry who was her former billet.
Patti loved her pets Zoey, Jasmine, and Callie. Her favorite time of the year was the Christmas season, both because of the holiday decorating, and that she shared her birthday with her mom. In memory of Patti donations may be made to the Swift Current S.P.C.A.
