It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Nicole Thérèse Loeppky at the age of 53 on November 3, 2023.
Nicole was born in Val d’Or, Quebec on October 31, 1970. As a child her family moved every couple of years across Canada due to her father’s career. They finally settled in Swift Current where she eventually met and married Michael Todd Loeppky on August 28, 1993, and had two beautiful boys together. Nicole’s true passion was helping people. She spent most of her career helping children and teenagers in need where she created some wonderful bonds. She was the first person to always help someone who needed it most. Nicole had the type of personality that lit up the room. She was witty, funny, beautiful, caring, and one of her favourite things to do was spending her summers out at Saskatchewan Landing with her family and dogs. You could also catch her riding around town in the spider with the top down and heavy metal music playing loud.
Nicole was predeceased by her father-in-law Bob. She is survived by her parents: George and Ellianne Gray; husband Todd; two sons: Christopher (Desiree), Michael (Deliah) and grandson Wesley; her sister Danielle (Kevin); as well as her nieces Brittany (Taylor), Brenna (Colby), Kari and nephew Darrel. She also leaves behind her great nieces and nephews Lily, Olivia, Amaya, Jack, Jacob and Blake; mother-in-law Eleanor; sister-in-law Wendy (Charles); and nieces and nephew Megan, Katelyn, and Ryan.
Nicole’s life ended too soon, but those of us who were blessed to be touched by her understand that her existence and the imprint she left on our hearts exceed the quantity of time that she stayed here. A private family service has taken place.
Donations in Nicole’s memory may be made to Canadian Mental Health in lieu of flowers. Arrangements entrusted to Warren's Funeral Home.
