Melody Laturnus

Laturnus: Melody Dawn age 50 of Swift Current, SK passed away surrounded by family on June 25th, 2022 in Regina, SK. Melody was born in Swift Current, SK on January 9th 1972. Melody attended school in Val Marie, SK. Melody has been a lifetime member of the Catholic Women's Leauge. She was also a member of Inclusions Canada, Sask Abilities and took part in the Special Olympics. Melody's hobbies included spending time with family and friends, playing games and going for coffee with her friends. Melody was one of a kind, she would give her shirt off her back to anyone in need as she had the kindest heart and soul. Melody's nieces, nephews, and great nieces and nephews were her greatest blessing. She loved spending time with them. Melody's favorite quote to the kids were "if you don't listen I'll kick your ass", it always made the nieces and nephews chuckle. Melody is survived by: Doug Radicki (fiance); Myles (Yvette) Laturnus (brother); Connie (Gerry) Ewachow (sister); nieces and nephews: Taylor (Cheyanne) Laturnus, Nicole (Nate) Laturnus, Malory (Travis) Alton, Rochelle Neyedley, Brandyn Neyedley, Jacob  Ewachow, Carson Ewachow; great nieces and nephews: Tyce, Raylinn, Tommy, Huntyr, Danyka, Ryder, Marshall, Hayley and Blaze; numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and friends, as well as Gerald and Rhonda Radicki. She was predeceased by her parents Casper and Theresa Laturnus; grandparents John and Magdelina Laturnus, and Lionel and Florilda Jeanson. The funeral will be on July 5th, 2022 at 2:00 pm from the Val Marie Community Hall in Val Marie, SK with Father Jules Adator and Deacon David Hagel officiating. The soloist was Kathy Grant, eulogist was Caitlin Sailor, ushers were Roger Glas and Wayne Andree, cross bearer was Katherine Andree, pallbearers were Taylor Laturnus, Brian Pinel, Brent Pinel, Malory Alton, Rochelle Neyedley, Larry Niedermayer, the readers were Collette Facette and Madonna Hammel. Intentions were given by Nicole Laturnus. The Internment Service took place at Val Marie cemetery.
