Maureen Robinson

Maureen Robinson May 23 1923 - December 18, 2019.
Maureen passed away peacefully in her sleep, with family at her side at Cypress House in Swift Current, Saskatchewan.  She is survived by son Don Robinson (his wife Ihla) and their children Craig (his wife Karla) and their children Ethan and Austin, Shawn (his wife Alison) and their children Avery, Josie and Britta, and Byron Robinson;  daughter Winona Wall (her husband Bill) and their children Trystan (his wife Carla) and their children Nolan and Camryn, Ryan (his wife Loredana) and their children Leonardo and Erica, and Adam (his wife Sara); son Bruce Robinson (his wife Lori) and their family Trent (his wife Shannon), Brett (his wife Irene), and Leah; son Ray Robinson (his wife Sam) and their children Christopher (his wife Katie) and their children Annika, Mya, and Natalie, Scott, and Lindsay (her husband Michael Neville) and their children Mackenzie and Charlie; son Reg Robinson (his wife Sheri-Dawn) and their children Ross and Lucas. Maureen was predeceased by her husband Bill; her parents Thomas and Jennie Shannon, her sister Mildred Eldridge, brother Eldon Shannon and her sister Lois Shannon. Maureen was born and raised in the Aneroid area. She taught school in Vanguard/Aneroid area until she married Bill in 1950. They farmed in the Neville area until their retirement in 1988. Bill and Maureen moved to Swift Current and lived in their home until 2009, when they moved to Riverview Village Estates. Maureen had many life-long friends from the Neville/Pambrun/Vanguard/Hazenmore/Aneroid area and valued the friendships she made while living at Walsh Trail, Riverview Estates, and Cypress House in Swift Current. Love and kindness were tenets of her life and she took great pride in her family and her community. She found her greatest joy in doing for others. The family would like to thank the staff at the Cypress Regional Hospital and Cypress House for the kindness, compassion and efforts over these past months. A celebration of Maureen's life will be held at Riverview Estates on January 3, 2020 at 2 pm. Warren's Funeral Home were entrusted with the arrangements.
