He was born on October 18, 1934 (or 1933 depending on which birth certificate you read) at home in the Tompkins, Saskatchewan area. He moved to the farm in Cabri in 1996 and remained there until February 2022, when he moved to the Foyer in Ponteix due to failing health. His greatest loves in life where his family (especially grandchildren), horses, and his dog. He loved to visit and tell stories. He brought birthday cakes and pumpkins every year for Jessica and Casey. He attended many horse shows, dance recitals, and ball games. He loved to watch sports, and go to brandings and rodeos.
