Granddaughters Lisa (Matthew) Burdick and Lori (David) Skagen and two great grandsons Nolan and Wesley Skagen. Marjorie is predeceased by husband Ernest Head. Parents Annie & Wesley Graham and brother Angus Graham. Marjorie was born in 1928 in Moose Jaw, SK to Wesley & Annie Graham. She grew up with her brother Angus on the family farm south of Webb, SK. She started her education at Prince of Wales School. Once that school shut down due to low enrollment, she moved on to Wilhemina and finished off her Grade 12 education at Webb school. She was very involved in her school organizing box socials and dances. Marjorie loved helping her mom in the garden and getting the horses ready for a day's work on the farm with her dad. Her and Angus enjoyed attending many dances throughout the countryside. In the fall of 1950 Marjorie married the love of her life Ernie Head. After they were married, they lived in Antelope where Marjorie worked as a post mistress until it closed in Antelope. In 1962 they moved to the family farm where they welcomed their only daughter Connie Lorraine. A few years later the family split their time between the family farm and winters living in Gull Lake where Connie was busy in skating and community activities while Marj and Ernie kept busy running the booths at the local skating and curling rinks. In 1978 Ernie passed away, leaving Marj and Connie to prove what strong, independent woman they were. Later in life she met a special friend Eldon Pedersen who became a big influence in the lives of her and her family. They spent their time camping, travelling, and enjoying many family get togethers and celebrations. Eldon passed away in 2002. As the years went on Marj stayed busy as a member of the Antelope Ladies Aid, UCW, and Gull Lake Senior's Club. She also loved to organize many senior's casino trips all over the countryside including Regina, Las Vegas, and South Dakota. She was always up to host a tea party with neighbors and friends that always lead to an evening of cards. Marjorie's pride and joy in her life were her two granddaughters Lisa and Lori. She kept every memento and newspaper clipping and was at every dance recital, piano concert, and volleyball game. The girls were the light of her life often begging to stay in town to hang out and help at grandma's house. Marj was also very blessed to be able to meet and get to know her 2 grandsons Nolan & Wesley Skagen. Even on the last trip to see great grandma the boys were able to make her light up and smile.
