Marian Nickel

Marian A. Nickel of Herbert, Saskatchewan, passed away at Outlook Hospital on August 5, 2024.  Marian was born on March 30, 1936 in Herbert, Saskatchewan.  Left to cherish her memory are her sons: Don (Linda), Mel (Sharon), Lawrence; daughters: Elva (Blair), Shirley, Alice, Doreen (Steve), Patricia, and Sharon.  She is also survived by numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren; sisters: Kathie, Bertha, Selma; brothers: Peter, Carl, Deitrick; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.  She was predeceased by her husband Wilfred D. Nickel; children: Evelyn, Henry, Alice, Doris, Raymond; her parents Bernard and Kathrina Dyck; sister Edna; brothers: Isaac, William, Charles, Benjamen, Cornelius, and James; son-in-law Andrew.

The funeral service for Mrs. Marian Nickel of Birsay, Saskatchewan will be held on Saturday, August 10, 2024 at 2:00 p.m. from the Grace Community Church in Herbert, Saskatchewan with Pastor Brent Hackney officiating.

The interment service for Mrs. Marian Nickel will take place at the Herbert Community Cemetery in Herbert, Saskatchewan following the service.
