Margaret Elizabeth Lindsay, age 76, of Swift Current, Saskatchewan, passed away on January 9, 2026 at The Meadows. Margaret is survived by her daughter Michele (Doug) Lindsay; step-daughter Denise Achtemichuk, and her daughter Mayce (Simon) Achtemichuk; sister June Howden; nephew Darren (Iris) Howden; niece Sharlene (Dale) Bukurak and their families; and step-son-in-law Greg Bird. She was predeceased by her parents Tom and Vera Lindsay; her loving partner of 32 years Lawrence Achtemichuk; brother-in-law Bob Howden; and step-daughter Darlene Bird.
Margaret was born on June 7, 1949 in Stocton-On-Tees, England, and immigrated to Canada as a young child. She worked at the Cypress Regional Hospital for 30 years until her retirement in 2011. Marg was a long-time member of the Legion where she used to enjoy playing darts, and dancing on weekends.
