Lorraine Hattum

 Hattum, Lorraine Laura, age 75 of Ponteix, Saskatchewan, passed away on October 5, 2025. A private family graveside service will take place at a later date. 

Lorraine is survived by her husband Homer, sons Billy Joe (Catherine) and Jason (Alicia). Grandchildren: Karia (Dalton), Alexis, Stuart, Tyler, Tori, Taylor, Becki (Josh), Dusty, Amy, Rainy (Brady) and Cache. Great-grandchildren: Sarah, Lauren, Mary Jane, Grace, and Blaze. Brothers Roger, Alain and Rob Bertrand. 
She is predeceased by her father, Adrian, mother Armaunde, and sister Paulette.

Lorraine was born on November 12, 1949, in Ponteix, Saskatchewan. 
She married Homer Hattum on October 9, 1970, in Malta, Montana.
In her early years, Lorraine ran the switchboard in Val Marie and Cadillac, then at Mountain Boy and The Manor old folks’ home in Ponteix and the family farm. 
She was a member of the hall board in Cadillac. 

Mother loved crocheting, knitting, sewing, baking, puzzles, cards, coffee, gardening, and pretty much anything with her hands. She loved visiting and spending time with family and friends.

Though she was called too young, her pain has ended. She is in heaven with her friends and family who passed before her. She will be forever missed by all of those she leaves behind.
