Tyberg, Lorna Anita age 74 years of Swift Current, passed away on March 22, 2021 at the Cypress Regional Hospital. The Memorial Service was held at 1:30 p.m., Saturday, March 27, 2021 at Christ The Redeemer Catholic Church with Father Thomas Mutavanattu officiating. The first reading was read by Mary Tartiff, second reading by Julie Jensen, and the eulogy was read by Denise Davies. Ushers were Cathy Sartison and Meinrad Hammel. The interment service was held at Hillcrest Cemetery. Honorary pallbearers were all her friends that knew her, and worked with her all her life. Catholic Women's League Honor Guard included: Mart Tartiff, Cathy Sartison, Marjorie Taylor, and Kathy Wanner. Lorna is survived by her husband John Tyberg; her daughter Denise Davies (Daniel Levasseur), and grandchildren Ethan Davies and Marin Davies; her son Brad Tyberg (Hanh Minh Nguyen), and grandchildren Rio Son Tyberg and Marco Lam Tyberg; her sister Gina Rohs (Don Rohs) and nephew david Rohs and children Alexa, Lucas, and Caleb Rohs; nephew Kevin Rohs (Kassandra Rohs) and children Garrett, Gradyn, and Gavin Rohs; niece Maria Rohs (Lloyd Bulloch) and child Amanda Perry (Brett Perry) and child Daniel Perry; sister Julie Jensen (Ron Jensen) and child Jeffrey Jensen; sister-in-law Joan Bender and niece Dawn (Oral) Hawkins; brother-in-law Richard (Linda) Tyberg; nephew Ryan (Kirsten) Tyberg; nephew Dustin Tyberg and children Dillon and Lucas Tyberg; and nephew Cody Tyberg. Lorna is also survived by her maternal nieces Catherine, Janet, Carey, Lori, and Debbie. She was predeceased by her parents Anselmo and Alda Pressacco; her brother Lester Pressacco; brother-in-law Earl Tyberg; brother-in-law Gerald Tyberg; sister-in-law Marlene Honsberger; sister-in-law Carol Hasjord; brother-in-law Ronald Tyberg; and great nephew Cole Hawkins. Lorna was born at Rose Valley, Saskatchewan on June 21, 1946. She attended school at Rose Valley. Lorna married the love of her life John Tyberg on August 16, 1969. They have been married for almost 52 years. Lorna was trained as a nurse at St. Paul's School of nursing in Saskatoon and she spent time working as a nurse at Biggar Hospital. Lorna then moved to Swift Current where she worked at the hospital until she married John. Lorna continued at the hospital until she became employed at the Associate Clinic for 23 years where she was loved by all. She was a devout Catholic and volunteered at the church bake sales and the fall suppers. Lorna was also a proud member of the CWL for 40 years. She was excited to volunteer at the World Curling Championship in 2016 in Swift Current. Lorna loved cooking, gardening, camping, flowers, hummingbirds, and taking care of others. Lorna was an avid cross-stitcher and she often made wedding and birth announcements for friends and family. She made Merry Christmas banners for all her family members to remember her by. Lorna thoroughly enjoyed attending Swift Current Bronco hockey games with John and cheered her heart out. Lorna was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend.
