Wall, Les, March 30, 1935-July 10, 2021. It is with great sadness that we announce the peaceful passing of Les Wall on Saturday, July 10, 2021. His loving wife of 63 years, Donna, and his children Tom and Catherine were by his side. Les will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by his family, wife (Donna), son, Tom (Michele), daughter, Catherine (Rick) and his grandchildren (Shaun and Allison) and those who knew him. Les was predeceased by his granddaughter (Sara), his parents (Peter and Sara), his brothers and sisters-in-law (Dave and Betty, Al, John and Gay), his sisters-in-law (Iris, Jo-Anne, Dianne), his nephew (Verdell), and his niece (Jody). He is survived by his brothers (Vic and Ralph (Elaine)), by his sister (Leona) and his sister in law (Ardis), his brother-in-law (Dutch) as well as many nieces and nephews. Les grew up in Swift Current and it was his home for the majority of his life. He was a district operator and during his career with SaskPower, he was the man people relied on to head out in the night, during summer and winter storms, to restore their power. He had a passion for all sports and was an active player, as a baseball pitcher with the Swift Current Indians and as a hockey defenceman with the Swift Current Indians and later the Swift Current Blues Old Timer Hockey, where he played for many years competing in tournaments throughout Canada, the United States and Denmark. In retirement, he pursued golf and could be found most days on the golf course with his usual foursome. He shared his love of sport with his children and later with his grandchildren. At Les' request there will be no funeral service. Warren's Funeral Home were entrusted with the arrangements.
