Fairbrother, Leslie Roy December 5, 1927 - May 1, 2021
It is with sad hearts that we announce that our Dad, Leslie Roy Fairbrother, of Consul, Saskatchewan, passed away on May 1, 2021 at Cypress Lodge in Maple Creek.  Leslie was predeceased by his wife Margaret; two sons: Walter and Thomas; and his parents Carter and Francis; and all of his siblings.  Leslie leaves to cherish his memory, Cara/James Blakley, Curtis/Roxanne Fairbrother, Rodney/Lisa Fairbrother, Betty/Larry Whitney, Ken/Paula Fairbrother, Grace/Blaine Potter, Gail/Ray Walroth, and many, many grandchildren.  Dad was born in Coronation, Alberta and raised on a farm in the Tofield area.  Dad moved to Consul, married Margaret Julia Backman and started a welding shop.  Dad was a welder, inventor, mechanic, and in later life dabbled in his first love, farming.  Dad and Mom Created a big, beautiful family and filled their home with faith, love and laughter.  We all feel fortunate to be part of this family.  We are so sad to say good bye, but know Dad's had a joyful reunion on the other side.  Love you Dad.  Memorial donations may be made to the Cypress Lodge Nursing Home in Maple Creek, Saskatchewan; or to the Consul Skating Rink, Consul, Saskatchewan.  Arrangements entrusted to Warren's Funeral Home.
