Laureen Falk

Laureen Mary Falk, age 76 years of Comox, BC, passed away in the early hours of Easter Sunday, April 5, 2026, after a very brief and aggressive battle with cancer surrounded in love by her family.

Laureen is survived by her partner of 20 years, Alvin Gruber.  She is also survived by her son Kris Falk (Amanda), grandchildren Kailey, Nora, and Lauren; daughter Melissa Aristo Dominquez (Julian), grandchildren Emily and Jesse; daughter Laurissa Sisco (Matthew), grandchildren Kayden, Madelyn, Carter, and Rylan; stepdaughter Jacqui Vanderfluit (Trevor), grandchild Caleb; stepson Ryan Gruber (Melissa), grandchildren Ava and Nate; stepson Michael Gruber (Lisa), grandchildren Jaxon, Marlow, Mya, and Kendrick; stepson Brad Gruber (Chrissy); sisters: Betty Foster, Linda Haubrich (Calvin), Maryanne Norton Byers (Kirk), Bonnie Norton (Rick); sister-in-laws: Yvonne Norton and Gayle Norton, as well as many loved nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by her grandparents, her mother Mary Norton, and father Melvin Norton; her brothers Earl and Larry Norton, and brother-in-law Wayne Foster.

Laureen will be forever loved and dearly missed by all who knew her.  Laureen will be laid to rest with her mom.

A celebration of life is being planned and will be announced at a later date.
