Sutton, Walter Larry, age 80, of Gull Lake, passed away December 14, 2025, at Gull Lake. In following with Larry’s wishes, there will be a time of fellowship at the Elks Hall in Gull Lake, Saskatchewan at 2:00 p.m. on January 7, 2026.
Larry is survived by his wife Lorraine Sutton; children: Doug (Sandy) Wiebe, Les Wiebe, Kathy (Blake) Nelson, and Shannon (Mike) Friesen; grand Children: Alisha Wiebe and her children Ryker Stretch and Rayna Wiebe, Sheldon Wiebe (Marliis Kelder) and their children Jaxen and Liisa Walsh, Sofia Wiebe, Braden and Jasmin Nelson and Baby to be, Shailynn Nelson (Colby Young), Austin and Miikal Armstrong and their children Derrick and Amythyst Armstrong, Jenson Armstrong; brother in laws: Wilfred (Pearl), Gary (Ethel), Russel (Trudy); sister-in-laws: Betty, Gayle, Wendy, and Wanda Campbell; and numerous nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by his parents Frank and Mary Sutton; sister Alice Sutton; Joyce and Bryan Bright; mother and father-in-law Violet and Clarence Campbell; brother-in-laws: Norman, Irvin, Harold, Milton and Lorne Campbell.
Larry was born on September 2, 1945, in Manitoba. He married Lorrain on January 30, 1982. Larry was self-employed, helping out the community of Gull Lake, from shoveling snow to mowing grass, fixing and tinkering on his old John Deere tractors. He was a friend to all, listening to those who wanted to talk. He always had time for coffee. Larry had a to-do list in his pockets at all times, and had a pen to write down his thoughts. He loved to collect many things from paper to tools.
