Kevin James Spate, age 61, of Morse, Saskatchewan, passed away June 22, 2025. He is survived by his children: daughter Kase Jordan Spate, son Logan James Spate, step-daughter Nikita Chael Lee, step-son Zachary Blake Glydon; sister Janice Lynn Spate (partner of Jeff Collins); and nephew Ethan Collins. Kevin was predeceased by his parents Leonard James Spate and Marjorie Anne Spate (Pollock).
Kevin was born on August 5, 1963 in Herbert, and attended school in Morse. He was self-employed and farmed until 2013, when he became a certified Home Inspector. In his spare time, Kevin enjoyed cooking and baking, hunting and fishing, and summer road trips with the family.
Kevin lived life to the fullest extent. He loved spending his summers at the lake with his kids, seizing every opportunity to let the child in himself out with them. Kevin had a huge heart and was always willing to help anyone who needed it. He always had a story – or 10 – to tell anyone willing to listen. Kevin will be greatly missed by his close family and friends.
