Kathy Ann Anderson, age 69, of Swift Current, SK, passed away March 14, 2022 at The Meadows, Clover House. The funeral service was held at 1:00 p.m. on March 21, 2022, from St. Stephen's the Martyr Anglican Church with the Venerable Chris Dowdeswell officiating. The organist was Janet Neubauer, and the readers were Susan Anholt, Kathy Butler and Val Salter. The ushers were Jim Smart and Rick Butler, and the urn bearer was Steve Philp. The interment service was held at Memory Gardens Cemetery. Kathy is survived by her spouse, Everett Anderson; daughters, Karen (nee Anderson) Guenther (husband, Carson, grandchildren, Brady and Jackson), Jaime (nee Anderson) Millsap (husband, Trevor, grandchildren Connor, Ryan and Avery); brother, John Hilts (Deb), sister Donna Decelles (Marcel). Kathy was predeceased by her mother, Irene Hilts and her father, William Hilts. Kathy was born in Regina, SK, and attended school in Rocanville, SK. She married Everett Anderson on December 4, 1971 in Rocanville. Kathy worked at the Toronto Dominion Bank from 1972 - 1981, and 1983 - 2008. Kathy was involved in her community, joining Curves, vestry, Knitting Club and the Church Lunch Committee. She also enjoyed knitting, curling, skating, camping with John and Deb Hilts, Isabelle and Stan Peters, and spending time in Saskatoon and Redcliff with her grandchildren. Kathy's family is grateful to the health care workers at the hospital lab, ICU, ER, medical wards and Clover House. Kathy was treated with the utmost respect, humanity and dignity. Kathy and her family also thank numerous friends, family and neighbours for their support, specifically during treatments and this last year when food was always delivered and chores completed at the acreage.
