Judith Ann Wohlgemuth
November 7, 1945 – February 8, 2026

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Judith Ann Wohlgemuth, age 80, of Moose Jaw, SK, on February 8, 2026.  Born on November 7, 1945 in Swift Current, Judy was the child of Thomas (Tom) Holt Stansfield and Katherine (Tina) Stansfield.

Judy was a hairstylist for many years in Swift Current. She worked for the Hudson’s Bay Company for many years afterwards at both The Bay and Zellers in Grande Prairie. In the 2000s Judy and her partner, Lyle Schwandt, owned a business together in Fort Saskatchewan and were recognized in the community as helpful, hardworking and reliable. Lyle and Judy retired in 2012 and moved to Southern Saskatchewan, spending winters in Osoyoos, BC until recently. Judy made and kept friends easily everywhere life took her. She was a rock for her family, and many friends throughout her life.

Judy was a devoted partner, mother, grandmother, sister, friend and confidante to so many. Her warmth and caring for everyone she met will never be forgotten. She is survived by her partner, her sister, her daughter, her three grandchildren. She was predeceased by her father, mother, first husband and father of her children, son and grandparents.

Service Details
A graveside service will be held on July 18, 2026 at 11:30am at the Mount Pleasant Burial Park located in Swift Current, SK at the corner of George Street East and 6 Avenue NE in Blk 308. All who knew and loved Judy are welcome to attend and share their memories.
