The family of Joshua “Jargs” Tyler Argotow are devastated to announce his sudden passing. Josh passed away at the age of 27 on December 14, 2024 surrounded by his family, at the Regina General Hospital.
Josh was born in Swift Current, Saskatchewan on December 20, 1996. He attended Oman School, Fairview School, Swift Current Comprehensive High School, and the Centre for Arts and Technology.
Josh loved hockey and enjoyed playing from the age of 6 in 2002 until 2014. He was an avid Oiler’s fan! His love of music and producing was his greatest passion, and he was extremely talented. Josh spent a lot of time working on his music with many friends over the years. He was very charismatic, and had the most infectious laugh. This is what we will always cherish in our hearts.
Josh is survived by his mom Bev, and his brother Matthew (Katie; Holden); aunts: Susie (Hal), Leanne (Michael), Juli (Daryl); uncle: Terry (Mitsuyo); cousins: Scott, Amber, April, Rachelle, and Renee.
He was predeceased by his father Kelly; grandparents: Walter and Betty Argotow, and Orville and Bea Peterka.
In honor of Josh, donations to the Saskatchewan Men’s Centre Prairie Region (which provides supportive care for men’s mental health and wellbeing, as well as drug and alcohol addiction) would be greatly appreciated by the family.
A private visitation for Josh’s “Jargs” family and friends will be held on Saturday, January 11, 2025 from 2:00 p.m. – 4:00 p.m. from the Chapel of Warren’s Funeral Home.
Arrangements entrusted to Warren’s Funeral Home. For further information please call 1-306-773-8831 or 1-800-267-6606, or visit the website www.warrensfuneralhome.com and express your sympathy to family members on the tribute wall.
