Joe Ewanchook Obituary

With very heavy hearts, the family of Joseph “Joe” Ewanchook is saddened to announce his passing on November 29, 2022.  Joe was born December 2, 1940 in Swift Current to Harry and Catherine Ewanchook.  Joe was the fourth son of the family and is survived by his oldest brother Henry; daughters Katherine (David) Ast and Angela Ewanchook; very special friend Doreen Luciak; and grandchildren Naida and Brenden Ast, along with many nieces and nephews.  Joe was predeceased by his mother and father and brothers James and Peter.  Joe grew up and attended school in Swift Current and went on to work the majority of his career in Swift Current as a sheet metal worker.  Joe was known around the coffee circles and most recently looked forward to Whopper Wednesdays with friends to review the week’s activities and solve the world’s problems.  Joe’s wit and humor is already deeply missed.  A celebration of life is being planned for the summer of 2023.
