O'Connell, Joanne Carol age 82 of Swift Current, Saskatchewan passed away on January 15, 2023 at The Meadows . As per her wishes there will be no funeral services. Joanne is survived by her son Pat O'Connell; grandchildren Melissa O'Connell and Daniel O'Connell, sister Lynda Munt, brother Alvin Anderson and her beloved nieces, nephews and their children. Joanne was predeceased by husband Mike O'Connell, son Tim O'Connell, parents Len and Francis Anderson, sister Rita Shaver and brother Doug Anderson . Joanne was born on December 12, 1940 in Bengough, Saskatchewan , she worked as telephone operator for SaskTel, and after retirement she kept busy making many epic quilts. Mom loved her family and friends , she is dearly missed and will be fondly remembered . Donations in her memory can be made to the Greta Thunberg Foundation.
