Jean worked very hard on the family farm doing a lot of the field work, feeding cows and pigs along with a large garden and raising two kids. The family was involved with the Sask. Jean was a fantastic sewer, knitter and crotcheter sewing most of the families clothes and along with wedding and bridesmaid dresses. In the 1980's she became a Nurse's Aid and worked at Kipling Willowdale Lodge until she retired and moved to Swift Current to be closer to family. She then worked at Carlton Cards, Bentley Luggage and Tan Jay/Alia until the age of 81 when the store closed. She enjoyed travelling with family and friends and loved playing cards and bowling with her special friends. Donations in Jean's memory may be made to the Swift Current Women's Safe Shelter P.O.
