James "Jim" Cooledge Obituary

COOLEDGE - James "Jim" Everett - we announce that Jim has passed away peacefully in his home.  Jim was born in Gull Lake, SK on June 19, 1943 and grew up on the family farm near Webb.  Jim moved to Swift Current and became an Electrician where he worked till he retired.  In his early days he enjoyed the freedom of riding his motorcycle and comradery of other enthusiasts.  He was an avid Hunter and was proud to be a member of Ducks Unlimited were he won numerous awards.  He had a keen interest in history and collected various military memorabilia.  He is survived by his brothers Walter (Sharon) Cooledge, Allen (Myrna) Cooledge, and sister Joyce Freestone.  He had many nieces and nephews Allen, Tracey, Terry, Jerry, Jay, Scott, Derek, Nickie, and Joanne.  Jim was predeceased by his parents, Everett and Irene Cooledge and brother in law Bruce Freestone.  In lieu of flowers donations can be made to Ducks Unlimited in his name (www.ducks.ca).  Warren's Funeral Home were entrusted with the arrangements.  For further information call 306-773-8831, or 1-800-267-6606, or visit our website at www.warrensfuneralhome.com and express your sympathy on the family tribute wall.
