It is with deep sadness that the family of Jacqueline Bartch announce her passing on September 30, 2025, at the age of 90.
Jackie born on September 14, 1935, to Steve and Annie Sawka in Hazel Dell, Saskatchewan. She married Clarence Bartch on June 19, 1953. They eventually made their home in Kyle, Saskatchewan in 1957 and have resided there since.
Jackie was an avid curler and golfer. She loved to cook and bake; especially chocolate cake made for Clarence. She always had a garden and there was always an abundance of canned vegetables and pickles on hand.
She enjoyed going to coffee row and visiting with friends once a week. Family was a very special part of Jackie’s life. Being together always had her laughing and smiling.
She was predeceased by her parents, sister Pauline and brother Jerry.
She is survived by her husband Clarence, daughter Denise (Bill) Fox, her children Jana (Clint) Code and their children Kacey and Tyson. Son Gerritt Lee and his children Deacon, Brooke, Beau, Hanna, and Emma. Daughter Debra (Les) Schwartz and their sons Dustin (Leah) and their children Zach and Brody. Shawn (Jenn) and his children Shaelee and Ryley and her son Brad. Brother Rudy (Jeannie) Sawka, sister Mary Radawitz, brother Friday (Pat) Sawka and numerous nieces and nephews.
As per Jackie’s request, no formal funeral services will take place. A private family internment will be held on Tuesday October 14, 2025.
