Jacob Teichrib

Jacob Teichrib (born February 24, 1924). Jake passed away very peacefully on February 10, 2021 at the age of 96. He was predeceased by his wife, Susan, his son, Larry, and second wife, Ruby. He leaves to cherish his memory, his two daughters, Brenda (Cam) Palmer and Myrna (Dennis) Perron, and Anna (Larry's second wife). He also leaves to remember him 9 grandchildren and many great grandchildren, who he loved all so dearly. Jake farmed for many years at Lac Pelletier; he also enjoyed fishing and playing cards with many friends and family. Jake and Susan also enjoyed spending time at their cabin at the lake. He enjoyed talking with neighbours and anyone who would stop by. Their door was always open. Jake was a devoted member and mentor of his A.A. group in Swift Current. He took many under his wing to help guide them straight. He did not judge anyone. He lived his 12 steps program, and lived one day at a time. Dad loved to laugh and you could hear him a mile away. He had a heart of gold, and a kind, gentle soul. Jake will be missed and forever remembered. No funeral will be held. As an expression of sympathy, donations may be made to the Swift Current S.P.C.A.
