Ingvald "Doc" Dokken Obituary

Ingvald "Doc" Johannes Dokken of Swift Current, SK was born on February 14, 1943 in Cabri, SK to parents Lewis and Helen Dokken (nee Dahl) passed away at the age of 77. He is survived by his brother Glenn (Sharon) Dokken of Saskatoon, SK; nephew Joel (Melissa) Dokken of Aberdeen, SK; and niece Faye Dokken (Martins Paura) of Regina, SK; great nephew and nieces: Rhodes and Ursula Dokken, Eisa Bouchard and Eleanor Paura; Aunt Marilyn Dahl and many cousins. He was baptized  and confirmed at St. John's Lutheran Church near Fosterton, SK. The interment will take place at St. John's Cemetery at a later time. Ingvald was educated at Battrum, Pennant and LCBI in Outlook. He spent many years working for Mobile Paving Crew, Southwest Paving and Batco Manufacturing all in Swift Current. He was interested in attending stock car races, drag races, air shows and photographing parades. Ingvald enjoyed the time he sang with the Barbershoppers and played trumpet for the Cabri Brass Band.
