Henry was a loving and devoted husband, grandpa and great-grandpa. The highlight of his life was spending time with his family. He was the Manager of Westland Concrete for 27 years. He was an avid and talented fisherman. He loved to garden and spend time outdoors, watching the birds, clouds, and picking fruit. He was half of a prolific quilt building team. He enjoyed backyard barbecues, especially the annual July 1 celebration with neighbours and friends. He loved to travel and camp with his wife. He was known for his hand-made walking sticks which he distributed for free to anyone who wanted them.
Dad was a very private person. To share his love of God and God's creation, he carried a John 3:16 card in his wallet all the time. Romans 10:13 "for every one who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved"
