Harvey was born April 2, 1934 in Cabri, SK, and attended school at Idaho Country School, finishing school in Swift Current and then briefly attended Notre Dame. He married Georgette Lecuyer, and then after her passing, married Cheryl McDonald. Throughout his life, Harvey worked as a rancher and farmer, and enjoyed taking care of cows. He played ball and really enjoyed it. He was on the board for the Elks Baseball Team. Above all, Harvey loved spending time with his friends and family. He appreciated life on the farm, and spent many days during the summer of 2020 on the farm, checking on the cattle, fixing fences, checking crops and planting many trees by hand. Harvey enjoyed walking in the sand hills, searching for different artifacts, collecting many arrowheads that he loved to show off. He relished sharing stories about growing up and the way things used to be. A special thank you to all Harvey's friends for being there throughout his life, and also to the nurses at the Cypress Regional Hospital ICU for all they did for Harvey. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in memory of Harvey to the Swift Current S.P.C.A. "Forever Remembered, Forever Loved"
