Obituary

SHEA: Gordon Grenville age 91 of Medicine Hat, AB and formally of Swift Current, SK passed away on July 26, 2022 in Medicine Hat. The funeral service was held on Tuesday, August 2, 2022 at 11:00 a.m. from the Community Baptist Church with Reverend Joell Haugan officiating. The interment service took place from Memory Gardens Cemetery. The eulogy was read by Laykin Wisnowski, the ushers were Eric Shea, Callum Shea and Knox Sandau. The pallbearers were Mike Shea, Ty Shea, Quinton Wisnowski, Brandon Wisnowski, Connor Acton, Austin Shea-White, Gordie Calkins and Lee Cooke with honorary pallbearers of all his grandkids and great grandkids. Gordon is survived by his daughter Deb Shea (Ken) and their children Mike Shea (Cindy) and their children Ty, Dwyane, Wyatt, Eric and Callum, Tonie Shea (Ken White) and their children Hailee (Nick Hill), Addy and Kimmy, Austin Shea-White, Kenneth White (Elyse) Grayson, Emily, Dawson, and Benson, Desire Radwanski (Mike) and their daughter Ellie, and Tyler White; his daughter Pat Olmsted (Gord) and their children Melissa Acton (Eldon Sandau) Brooklynn Acton (Cody) and Reese, Connor Acton, Knox Sandau, Kelsy Sandau, Hailee Sandau, Chantal Olmsted and Diana Olmsted; his daughter Barb Wisnowski (Mike) and their boys Brandon (Laykin) with baby unknown and Quinton. He is predeceased by his wife Gladys Shea; his parents Violet and Harold; brother Herb; and sister Doreen. Gordon was born on August 3, 1930 in Kindersley, SK. He attended Milridge School. Gren was united in marriage on October 6, 1951 to Gladys Shea in Loverna, SK. Gordon was a contract operator for SaskOil for his working career and he enjoyed being with family and friends, camping, fishing, hunting, farming, going to auctions, and loved to dance.
