Gordon Jacobson Obituary

Jacobson: Gordon, age 96, passed away September 9, 2019 at the Cypress Regional Hospital. He was born in Shaunavon, SK on February 13, 1923 to Lars and Selma Jacobson of the Buffalo Horn district south of Ponteix, SK. He married Helen Cleugh of Aneroid in 1954. Farming was his life and he had a hard time letting go when they moved to Swift Current in later years. He enjoyed playing cards, bowling, and travelling. He also loved listening to music and dancing. He is survived by his daughter Arlene (Dale); 5 grandchildren: Devon, Josserek, and Alison Balas, Charley and Jamie Jacobson; 5 great grandchildren; sister-in-law Kathy Antal, and nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his wife Helen, daughter Carol, son Albert; brother Leonard (Rose) Jacobson, sister Lela (Walter) Empey; in-laws Marjorie and Art Kachuik, and Louis Antal.
