Gerry Deschamps
September 4, 1949 – December 27, 2025

Gerry passed away peacefully at the Cypress Regional Hospital with his family by his side after a brief battle with cancer. 

He is survived by his wife Roseanne, daughter Michelle (Craig) Eaket, grandchildren Luke and Audrey, son Derek (Erinn), grandchildren Ethan and Chloe. He is also survived by his brothers Guy, Rene (Anne), Denis and their families, as well as Roseanne’s sisters and their families and his many friends and neighbours. He left a deep footprint on our hearts. 

We would like to take this opportunity to thank Dr. Perron, Dr. Sarofim, Dr. Lim and Dr. Flora for walking this journey with us.

To the Palliative Team - Karen and Briar, and the entire nursing staff on Med/Surg West, thank you for your care and compassion. Gerry commented many times on how good the staff were to him. All of your kindness will never be forgotten.

There will be no formal funeral service as this was Gerry’s wish.

In lieu of flowers, donations to donor’s choice would be appreciated by the family.
