Fred Walsh

Frederick (Fred) Walsh was born in Consort, Alberta on September 8, 1940.  He succumbed to ALS after a lengthy battle on December 9, 2022.  Fred grew up in small towns in Alberta.  Early working career was in the Oil and Gas Industry, then into mechanics.  In 1974, Fred moved to Swift Current and continued in the automotive trade.  He is survived by his spouse of 50 years Rose, daughter Tina, son Dean, and stepson Jason Schamber (Amanda), his grandchildren and great grandchildren.  At Fred's request, no formal services will be held.  The family would appreciate donations in his memory be made to the ALS Society of Saskatchewan, 2430 8th Ave, Unit C, Regina, Saskatchewan S4R 5E3.  Arrangements entrusted to Warren’s Funeral Home.
