Frederick Wilhelm Rohrich
May 25, 1938 – October 24, 2025
It is with love and sadness that we announce the passing of Frederick (Fred) Wilhelm Rohrich, who passed away peacefully at the age of 87, surrounded by family, on October 24, 2025.
Fred was born in Cabri, Saskatchewan.
Fred is lovingly remembered by his wife, Donna, and their children Twila Hendous (Monty), Guy Rohrich (Diane), Brenda Machan (David), and Laurie Radtke (Darren). He also leaves behind his sister Mary Smith, 11 grandchildren, and 9 great-grandchildren. He was predeceased by his parents, Jacob and Mary, his brothers John and Walter, and his sister Ruth.
Fred grew up on the family farm in the Lancer/Abbey area, where his love of farming began and never faded. He lived in Swift Current, Saskatchewan, and was married to Donna for 63 wonderful years. He worked in maintenance in the oil field for many years until his retirement.
A skilled woodworker and lifelong tinkerer, Fred could fix almost anything—and often with a funny story to share. His quick wit, generosity, and humor will be deeply missed.
Fred loved the outdoors. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, and camping, especially with his grandchildren, creating memories that will be cherished forever. Above all, Fred treasured time with family and friends, whether sharing stories in the garage or enjoying a quiet visit.
Fred’s legacy of hard work, laughter, and love will live on in all who knew him.
Pallbearers: His grandsons, Dalton Machan, Catlin Hendous, Clayton Hendous, Tanner Radtke, Jonathon Rohrich, and Brady Campbell.
A private graveside service will be held with close family. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to charity of choice in Fred’s memory.
