Faye Jeanette Phillip (nee Trudeau), Age 72 of Swift Current, SK passed away peacefully after a long 7 year battle with mesothelioma (asbestos) cancer. Faye was born September 25th, 1948 the fourth daughter to Paul and Evelyn Trudeau of the Simmie, SK area. After completing high school Faye moved to Swift Current and took up square dancing as a means to meet new people. Dancing quickly became a passion for Faye, it allowed her to travel and meet many lifelong friends. Square dancing is where Faye met the love of her life Keith Phillip, they were married on June 2nd, 1984. In May of 1967 Faye started her career as a member services representative, she spent 41 years devoted to the Credit Union before retiring in February 2008. Faye is survived by husband Keith Phillip, son Sean Phillip (Janessa), daughter Lacey Follensbee nee Phillip (Lance), stepdaughters Deborah Clements nee Phillip (Stuart), Lorelei Phillip, Pamela Phillip, and Beverley Phillip. Grandchildren Dylan, Dion, Tabitha, Bentley, Beresford, Marc, Drayton and Oscar. Sisters Joyce Horning nee Trudeau, Marlous Jarvis nee Trudeau (Al), Trudy Auger nee Trudeau (Claude), Mary Wrishko nee Trudeau (Kerry) and Brother Keith Trudeau (Germaine). Faye was predeceased by her parents Paul and Evelyn Trudeau, sister Carol Paradis nee Trudeau, brothers in-law Joseph Paradis, Don Horning, and Grandson Richmond DeFord. At Faye's request no service will be held. She will always be remembered for her kind caring nature and we will be deeply missed by all who loved her.
