The interment service was held at Mount Pleasant Burial Park in Swift Current. Fay was buried beside her parents. Fay is survived by her son Greg MacKay, grandsons Ayden MacKay, Koltyn MacKay and Dylan MacKay all of Calgary Alberta, her brother Don Engler (Terry) of Drumheller Alberta, her brother Max Engler of Dartmouth Nova Scotia, her sister Peggy Stirr of Regina, and her sister Maxine Ansell of Victoria B.C. as well as many nieces, nephews, and cousins. Fay was predeceased by her father Tony Engler, her mother Mabel Engler, her sister Betty Campbell, and brother-in-law Court Campbell all of Swift Current, her sister-in-law Betty Engler of Dartmouth Nova Scotia, and her brother-in-law Steve Stirr of Regina. Fay was a beautiful baby born in Swift Current as a post-war gift to Mabel and Tony and a family of five children. She was everyone's baby; pampered, adored and watched over by her parents and older brothers and sisters. She attended school at St. Pat's and SCCI and then moved to Regina to continue her education, attending Marvel Beauty School. She lived with her sisters Maxine and Peggy while she finished her studies and then later worked in Regina, Calgary and Swift Current as a hair stylist. Fay loved to spend time with her family and Greg, and when they lived in Swift Current they were constant companions for her parents. She loved cards, music and movies and participated in many family events. Her home was a frequent location for family to gather. Fay lived with MS for most of her adult life. She was an attentive mother to Greg who lived with his dad as a young man. She volunteered with the MS Society of Saskatchewan raising funds for research by selling daffodils. Fay was a long time resident of the Prairie Pioneers Lodge and more recently of The Meadows Long Term Care. She was forever thankful to the wonderful staff of her care homes and her family members for the ongoing care, support and love that enhanced her quality of life. No one who met Fay could ever forget her beautiful face, her sweet smile or her infectious giggle. She was a warm and giving woman who was composed of sunshine, rainbows and flowers. She is already missed by many. In Fay's memory, memorial donations may be made to the M. S. Society, Saskatchewan Division, 150 Albert St, Regina, Saskatchewan, S4R 2N2.
